  This is based on a Table d'Hôte choice, rather than the usual À la Carte options, at my friend's 50th Birthday party. I had the chicken breast stuffed with mushroom, prosciutto and cheese with a demi-glace cream sauce served with a side of simple tomato sauce and spaghetti. The stuffing was nice, not too salty. The demi sauce was outstanding, so rich and flavorful, I could've had a bowl of it. The spaghetti sauce was run of the mill.

  Went for a lunch with a bunch of people, reserved so they knew we were coming, took about 1h15m to get our food off a super basic 3 item menu. Way overpriced, 2 sausages and McCain fries for 20$, wow! Not going back and do not recommwnd, slow anduinattentive service for large groups.

  The dessert course was something of a deconstructed tiramisu. It was akin to a loose mousse with pieces of lady fingers folded in, it made me think of Triffle. Though the flavor was nice I was a little disappointed, I prefer a more traditional layered tiramisu.

  This was preceded by a lack lustre minestrone soup, a little underwhelming, and good garlicky bruschetta.

  It's a small Italian restaurant, it's very cosy especially if you go at night, it's close to the St Lawrence River and if you cross the street the is a park, if you go at dusk, the view it's unbelievable, let's say you go with your date, or you want to bring your wife to dinner and then a romantic walk in a park.... You can't go wrong with this place.

  The food is so so. If you go with a group you can only chose from the menu du jour which is limited to 3 choice. The service is excellent and the view of the lake is great.
